This companion will start with 100 trade skill. In the best case, find a character with with this name, otherwise characters with the Exile or the Swift will also work well as they start with 80 skill in Trade. You will need one companion and 15,000 denars to start a caravan. Once you have an extra companion, you can create a caravan by heading
Companions rescued from bandits on the map can have 0-2 beginner perks and rarely an experienced perk. - Companions obtained from the companion hideouts listed above can have 1-2 perks of expert and grand level, making the perks more effective than beginner perks. - You can see the perks from the Companion tooltip window.
I've been fighting with my 80 stack + my companion's 50 stack and just realized i dont know if the troops in my companions party are leveling up or not. Because if they are what determines which path they choose? I know if they're not getting experience it's unintentional because armies in your army controlled by other lords definitely level up
Switch companions around a lot to level different skills. Go into battle with a high medicine Surgeon so troops are wounded instead of killed, then switch to your lowest medicine companion to level their medicine. Switch scout and quartermaster around when you can. Keep varied food types and high morale.

With this method it makes it way less of a grind to level up medicine, since you care a lot less about losing high-tier troops. Put em through the meat grinder and when you're low, go grab a bunch of bandits and/or regular recruits, donate a couple 2H swords, and bam, you're back to a full stack of max-tier troops.

I just realized there are companions with high starting Steward skills, so I'm wondering if I should forego steward on my personal character and just have a companion for it. Personal character. Every 4 level increase 1 party size. If companion die or become prisoner, your party size would suddenly shrink. It's for better Auto resolve results only and there is no proper way to level it. Auto resolving doesn't level it faster, which is insane. Scouting perks don't work, the scouting bonuses don't make you move on the map faster. Cunning is garbage sadly. Companions are stats are always wrong. Doctors with 1 int for example. Damn near impossible to
What is the max level in Bannerlord and what is the most Focus points you can get? I have looked all over the internet and there seems to be different answers. You won't reach max level during normal play. For planning purposes, plan for your build to be largely finalized in the mid 30s, and treat anything over that as bonus.
Auto resolve battle (please use this only on looters as you will lose most of any other fight, also this is the best way to level up units as well.) and also by commanding your troops in battle using formations and what not. #4. SyncHound Apr 8, 2020 @ 12:50am.
I do know that there are some low level companions available at some point, not always at the game start though. Some companions get generated over time or when you reach a new clan tier. Also, after a few years of in game time your younger siblings and certain potential wives/husbands start basically at level 1. CrowCaller1.
They are pretty terrible tbh. Spawn as a level two clan with 3 members, which they can sometimes spawn with no gear or skills. Not to mention you will need to level a companion somewhat in skills that will help them lead a party or they will be dead weight. I guess if you are really desperate for clans.
If it doesnt go up just from the title then you need to start getting income. Fairly easy. Just make sure you have enough food and that your troops are getting paid. Unassign all followers from the roles in the clan because they take the EXP for it then.

There are several perks that increase party size in Bannerlord, which can be found throughout the skill trees. They are as follows: *The Leadership skill “Leader of the Masses” provides +5 extra troops for every settlement you own. *The Leadership skill “Ultimate Leader” grants +1 to party size for every level after 275. I think it is level 27. Assumptions: Every level keeps needing 5 more SP (skill point) to gain the next level. The cap of your max skill points in a skill is increased by 12 for each attribute (not counting the first point in each attribute) The max SP cap is increased by 46 for each focus point assigned to the skill.

then go up and murder looters 3-5 versus 100. get yourself/companions 100 levels of bow and riding in ONE battle. take them up and go within 130ish range. stop. let your companions fire while not moving. as looters get within 50m, move again. go back out to 130ish. stop again. repeat. stopping lets your companions aim better, and get his. You are the level 1 hero. Alternatively, you can strip a companion of armor, shield, horse and give them a pitchfork from a looter. he wants a companion he can skill as he pleases from ground on, in stead of building up on a existing template. @ontrose afaik there are mods that allow you to alter characters.
So far it seems it's one of the hardest skills to level up companions with (haven't bothered doing it myself), along with roguery and trade. I do know trade is easier for the MC tho, but it also seems to crawl for NPCs. Like I have been having a companion run a caravan for years and her trade hasn't increased enough to get a single extra perk.
